Stage 2 Fire Restrictions enacted

Get started with convenient illness testing

The Mesa County Public Health Clinic can test adults and children ages 5+ for:

COVID-19
Flu (Type A and B)
RSV
Strep

COVID-19, flu, and RSV testing

With a single nasal swab, we can test for Influenza A and B, COVID-19, and RSV.
Cost $150, insurance may cover some of the cost.

Strep testing

Rapid strep testing available using a throat swab.
Cost $50, insurance may cover some of the cost.
Patients can receive a prescription to treat a positive strep test.

Clinic hours for testing

We have flexible scheduling available for testing Monday - Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Or you can walk in without an appointment Monday - Thursday from 2 - 4 p.m.

Results

We process the test on site. Results available in approximately 24 hours. You will receive a phone call from our staff.

Insurance

Patients should bring their insurance card with them to the appointment in order to bill their insurance. You can still receive the testing without insurance.
